Industry Partner Merit Award: Nomination Form
The Industry Partner Merit Award is the highest Industry Partner award bestowed by the American Society of Interior Designers. The award is intended to honor those who have shown outstanding and significant service to their chapters, made contributions that have enhanced the chapter and who have enriched the human experience through design.
- The Industry Partner Merit Award nomination period is open from now until April 15, 2014.
- Nominations submitted after April 15, 2014, will not be considered.
- Winners will be notified in May 2014.
- The winners also will be publicly announced at the 2014 Chapter Awards Luncheon to be held in June 2014 in Los Angeles.
The Industry Partner Merit Awards will be judged by our distinguished panel of judges including: Suzan Globus, FASID, LEED AP D+C, NJCID; Kay Sargent, ASID, IIDA, CID, LEED AP, NCIDQ; and Amy Ress. Globus is chair of the ASID Foundation, a past-president of ASID, and she is principal of Globus Design Associates. Kay Sargent is Industry Partner representative to the ASID Board of Directors and vice president of Architecture, Design and Workplace Strategies for Teknion. Amy Ress is the director of The 1% Program at Public Architecture, a national pro bono program that enables designers to contribute more than $45 million in services annually to underserved communities.
For ASID local chapters: If your chapter is interested in nominating a deserving Industry Partner Representative for consideration, please complete the online nomination form below. Please note that all nominees must have been an Industry Partner Representative for at least three years, and nominees must have had truly significant accomplishments to merit consideration. Nominations should be submitted by the chapter president or his/her designee.
