Patricia C. Kluetz, ASID, has been a professional interior designer for over twenty-five years and is a tenured full professor in the CIDA-accredited interior architecture program at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. She began her career working as a commercial interior designer in Oklahoma and California. Patricia taught at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Miami University of Ohio before coming to UW-Stevens Point in 1988. She is actively involved with the ASID Wisconsin Chapter, the National Council for Interior Design Qualification, and the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA). Pat's research interests include designer-client communication strategies, technical communication, and instructional methods for design presentation. She also maintains a private practice in interior design, space planning, and art consultation.Pat is a recipient of the ASID Chapter Educator Medalist Award (2007), a 2007 bronze award for design excellence from the Wisconsin Chapter ASID for the design of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Center for Leadership, and the ASID Faculty Advisor of the Year Award (2007-08.)

Steffany Hollingsworth, ASID, has been designing residential and commercial spaces for 15 years. She is a NM licensed interior designer, is NCIDQ-certified, and listed on the National Heritage Registry of Who’s Who in Interior Design. She has done work in Dallas, Aspen, New Mexico and Virginia. Her work has been published in TREND Magazine, Su Casa Magazine, Leading Residential Interior Designers books, and the upcoming Adobe Glamour book in January 2009.

Darrin Brooks ASID, a Utah based designer, is the owner of Brooks Design Associates, a firm specializing both residential and commercial interior design and both set and costume design for theatre. He is also an assistant professor in the Interior Design Program at Utah State University. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Interior Design and a Masters of Fine Arts in Set and Costume Design. Before joining the faculty at USU, he owned a high-end residential design firm in Greenwich, Connecticut. He has received numerous awards for his work, including set and costume designs being displayed at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. In addition, his work has appeared in various magazines such as Bedroom and Bath, Sources and Design, Vermont Magazine, and Southern Accents Magazine. Darrin’s research interests include the Interiors of the Oval Offices at the White House and the relationship between furniture and fashion. He has served as the Representative to the Intermountain Chapter of ASID for the State of Utah.

Catherine Chang served as the Secretary and then President of the ASID UCLA Extension Student Chapter in 2007-2009. During her tenure, the Chapter was honored as the Outstanding ASID Student Chapter in the nation an unprecedented two years in a row. On an individual basis, Catherine won the ASID Student Legislative Award in 2008 for her efforts to secure interior design legislation in California. A member of the California State Bar, Catherine formerly practiced business litigation. She will graduate from UCLA Extension's Professional Level Program in Interior Design in 2010 and looks forward to shaking up hospitality, restaurant, and retail design.

During the 2008-2009 academic year, Lauren served as the Student Representative to the Board for the ASID Texas Gulf Coast chapter. Additionally, she held positions as past Vice President and President of the Art Institute of Houston ASID student chapter; and won the ASID TGCC student commercial competition for 2009. While attaining her degree from the Art Institute of Houston, she interned with Creative Touch Interiors and The Jane Page Design Group. In 2002 she founded Master Design Concepts, and incorporated the firm in 2007 primarily serving commercial clients by creating professional interiors. Other experience includes her studies abroad in China. A graduate of the Art Institute of Houston, Lauren is currently employed by Morris Architects in Houston, Texas as a designer. She is a LEED accredited professional.

Carolyn graduated in December 2008 from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Architecture. She is currently working in Chicago, Illinois, as a space planner for the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA). While attending UW-Stevens Point, Carolyn was actively involved in ASID, serving as the Secretary, President-Elect, and President of the ASID student chapter. Her active involvement in professional and student chapter events was a vital part of her education. She is delighted to serve on the Student Advisory Council this year, and looks forward to continued involvement with ASID throughout her professional career.

Joshua graduated in May of 2008 from Colorado State University, Summa Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design. After serving as historian and publicity chair for his student chapter, Joshua was elected the 2007-08 Student Representative to the Board for the ASID Colorado Chapter. He has been actively involved with both the Colorado Membership and Student Affairs Committees, and has led a number of technology oriented workshops at various schools. Joshua is currently a designer with Communication Arts, Inc., a Boulder, Colorado-based, multi-disciplinary firm specializing in architecture, interior design, environmental graphic design, brand identity, and placemaking within urban, retail, and hospitality environments. He resides in Fort Collins, CO with his wife and enjoys the arts, music, photography, and the outdoors.
