I am a practicing interior designer with over 25 years of experience, attended a four year design program and have successfully completed the NCIDQ. I currently work as a Lead Designer for Douglah Designs a Residential Design Build Firm in Lafayette, CA. My area of expertise is residential interior design, designing the interiors of residences at all phases. Design projects through out my career have ranged from residential design to turn key model homes, builder and developer related work, commercial offices, the renovation design and installation of all the public area's in a high rise /low rise residential complex in San Francisco and furniture design: custom and for manufacture. I have worked on projects through out Northern and Southern California and Hawaii.

This best describes my design philosophy and how I approach all of my projects. My work reflects a diverse range of styles as each project is tailored to reflect my client. Any new project is aproached with certain criteria in mind: to create a environment that is representative of the client and who they are, well suited to their life style and needs, while always embodying good design. Ideally projects are taken from conception to completion during which time plan analysis and project management are provided. Through this process finish selection and specifications, interior layout and detailing including kitchens and baths, electrical and lighting design are provided. I work on renovation of existing homes and new construction working hand in hand with the owner, architect and contractor.

Fee Structures

The initial consultation is complimentary. Once the scope of work for the project is determined a letter of agreement for Design Services is provided. It outlines how the project will proceed, what work will be proformed and how the services will be charged for. All time is charged on a flat fee per project or a hourly basis dependent on the project parameters. Purchasing and construction services are provided
