Ali Vanderpool graduated from the New York School of Interior Design. Before co-founding The Elegant Abode in early 2011, she previously worked at two different high-end residential firms in Manhattan.

Led by design directors Ali Vanderpool and Ariana Villalta, The Elegant Abode creates homes that are comfortable, thoughtful and personal. The interiors they design range from vintage to modern; crafting timeless and unique spaces. Their signature look of neutral palettes, vintage furnishings and classic details are the basis to which each home is crafted. One of the draws of this team, beyond their down-to-earth, friendly demeanor, is their ability to bring a fresh approach and vibrancy to each of their projects. The design duo work hand in hand with each client to ensure every expectation is met with an extraordinary level of service. They oversee each step of the design process collaborating with contractors and architects to achieve the highest quality results.

Fee Structures

The Elegant Abode offers a free consultation to new clients. We will come to your home, evaluate the work that needs to be done, get a feel for the style and direction you would like to go toward and get to know you and how you live in your space. Afterward, we will discuss the appropriate fee structure for the project. We traditionally charge an hourly fee however, depending on the project, sometimes a fixed fee is possible.
