o Won design awards, including the 2004 and 2006 Northwest Design Awards. o Featured by HGTV, King 5 Television, and Q13 FOX. o Amely Wurmbrand Designs work has been published in "Metropolitan Home", "Seattle Times Pacific Northwest", "Seattle Homes and Lifestyles", and "Better Homes and Gardens" magazines. o Graduated in interior design Cum Laude from Cornish College of the Arts (in addition to a previous BS in English literature…Emerson anyone?). o Successfully built my own thriving interior 4 person design firm that for the past 7 years has specialized in highly customized residential and multi-family interior architecture and design. o Amely Wurmbrand Designs creates full architectural drawings using tools such as AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketch up and Form Z, for high end residences being built from the ground up. Well experienced at the art of architectural drawing and have completed many projects of this nature. o Designed a building requiring several 14 inch x 27 foot steel I beams and oversaw their installation. o Designed and oversaw the installation of 15 foot concrete feature walls. o Directed entire construction projects as the general contractor as well as designer; working with Sandblasters, concrete cutters, sewer engineers, municipalities, carpenters, concrete installers, sheet metal manufacturers, waterproofing specialist, suppliers of every imaginable ilk, roofers, upholsterers, painters (my favorites ), and woodworkers just to name a small handful. o Faux Finished walls and art directed the installation of murals. o Designed an acoustically correct music recording studio (including hidden routes for cables and a long list of other sound studio specifications which I am happy to provide). o Sourced obscure materials from all over the world…Brazil to Europe…usually calling the sources directly in the necessary country. o We could keep going, but at this point you should just call us, not read this!

Amely Wurmbrand Designs is an award winning nationally published design firm based in Seattle Washington. We offer a full spectrum of design services from re-model plans and specification, material selection, furniture layout, construction project facilitation, or just pillow fringe design. We have designed everything from entire buildings with 15' tall concrete walls and steal beams, to award winning kitchen and bath remodels, as well as new furniture based decorating plans for small spaces. Amely strives to capture expressive style, intelligence, and feeling within all the spaces she designs. Her spaces are highly customized to the needs of her clients through the creative use of space, light, unique materials, and distinctive furnishings. Amely works closely with clients to uncover highly fulfilling and stylish designs that reflect the clients personality. Through her extensive knowledge of interior design sources and the studied application of color and texture, she creates individually tailored homes that show the unique voice of their inhabitants. Whether meeting her client’s needs requires period designs or minimalist modern décor, her creations are always elegant and timeless, telling the clients story rather than her own.
