I have acquired over 12 years of interior design experience, as both a free-lance designer & as a sales representative for many major flooring & furniture lines. Currently, I am an Adjunct Faculty member teaching in the Interior Design Program at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, MS. Previously, I was Director of Sales at Anderson Design Center in Hattiesburg, MS leading over 14 sales people in all departments: Sleep Center, Furniture Gallery & Rug Market, Carpet One Home & Anderson Commercial Flooring & Furniture. I completed my Master's of Science degree specializing in Healthcare Interior Design in Decemeber 2011. My thesis is now published and copyrighted. My these researched the impact of interior design on patient satsifaction in a hospital birthing center. I serve on the Mississippi Coalition for Interior Design (MCID) board, which worked extremely hard to gain legislation in the state of Mississippi using a Title Act. This one step will help the future of Interior Design in the state of Mississippi. I serve on the American Society of Interior Design (ASID) South Central Chapter board as Membership Director. In the past, I served as Chair of the Gulf Coast District for many years. I belive in ASID and the networking opportunities that I have been priveledged to gain throughout my career as an ASID member-beginning with being a student, allied & professional member. I passed the NCIDQ in October of 2003.
