Based in Boston and Tampa Bay we are a young and growing design firm offering full service, high end interior decorating and design services for clients throughout New England and Florida. Our interior design services provide complete home and hospitality interiors (MA only) and we can work together independently or through your architect or builder. I grew up on the Gulf waters of Terra Ceia Bay and live on Boston’s North Shore. I obtained a bachelors degree in urban and regional planning. After 5 successful years in professional community planning I pursued a career in interior design, participating in Rhode Island School of Design's (RISD) interior design certificate program. While in New England, I worked at a national design firm specializing in resort, private club, restaurant and high-end residential clientele. In 2005 a move back to Florida sparked the opportunity to start my own company. I founded Anne Nelson Interior Design, offering high-end residential interior decorating and design services to clients on Florida's gulf coast. In a short time, I was featured in both SRQ and Sarasota Magazine and rapidly gained a reputation as one of Florida's best young interior decorators, working on premier properties in Tampa Bay on Longboat Key and Anna Maria Island. In the Spring of 2009 a move back to Massachusetts sparked the opportunity to also service clients in metro Boston and New England and recent features in Experience | On The Water magazine. I am proud to be a member of the American Society of Interior Designers, ASID # 1937837. I live with my husband Jim and sons Thomas & John. I love to travel and am most at home on the beach.
