Services Offered
Interior Design Professional who's primary focus is commercial design specializing in healthcare. Interior environments can have a direct impact on the healing process and the attitudes of those within the built environment. I am an advocate for Evidence Based Design approach striving to create environments that support staff, patients and families. My goal is to promote safe environments that produce positive outcomes. It is important to understand the goals, mission and vision of each client. This enables me to reinforce who they are through the built environment. A clear understanding of codes, appropriate finish applications, project scope and budget is important. I take a proactive team approach when working with various design disciplines continually educating my clients on current healthcare trends. My scope of work experience ranges from new construction to small renovation projects, large 350-bed hospitals, community hospitals, critical access centers, interior master plan standardization packages, surgery, dialysis and cancer care centers. Several projects have been featured in issues of Healthcare Design. Healthcare is continually evolving. I find this area of design quite challenging and rewarding. Client satisfaction is important to me. Repeat client business allowed me to form my own company in August 2006. AMI Design Inc. is an interior design firm that provides a full range of services to meet the various needs of healthcare clients.

Fee Structures
AMI Design Inc. compensation varies depending on project scope and client preference. We can establish a fixed fee; establish a cost per square foot per the size of a project or bill at an hourly rate not to exceed a certain amount. It is important to understand the size and scope of a given project which allows us to create an amicable compensation for all parties.

Our Lady of Victory - Critical Access Center - Stanley, Wisconsin
Understanding client preference is important. This Faith-based organization wanted a contemporary, uplifting space for its clients. Raised letter psalms applied on the wall reinforce the organizations beliefs. / Our Lady of Victory - Critical Access Center - Stanley, Wisconsin
Our Lady of Victory - Critical Access Center - Inpatient Unit
AMI Design looks for opportunities to create positive distractions. The dropped disk soffit above the nurse station, carpet insets and patient entry lighting act as wayfinding mechanisms. / Our Lady of Victory - Critical Access Center - Inpatient Unit
Our Lady of Victory - Critical Access Center - Emergency Department
Incorporating consistent design elements, impact resistant details and appropriate applications of finishes are important for all healthcare settings. / Our Lady of Victory - Critical Access Center - Emergency Department
Northwood's Community Hospital
The "Commons Area" is a positive distraction that provides a home-like comfortable atmosphere for family members and patients while they wait for care. / Northwood's Community Hospital
Cancer Center
The finish palette for the center incorporates "Full Spectrum Color" approach that blends warm and cool colors creating an environment that is comfortable and soothing. / Cancer Center
