New Construction Master Bedroom
This master bedroom is off of the main living area in this reverse story & a half home. The gas fireplace is a see-through to the master bath and adds warmth to both rooms. Design Connection, Inc. selected and purchased the furniture, custom draperies & bedding, carpet, lighting and bathroom tile. / New Construction Master Bedroom
Family Room
Design Connection, Inc. customized a large sectional in neutral tones. The coffee table and large custom picture are the focal points of this room. Different elements are created by use of the shag carpet, textured fabrics and beautiful, but expensive mohair pillows. The drapery is an accent to the room, but not a focal point. What a great family room! / Family Room
Updated Dining Room
Moldings were added to the ceiling to create interest and the dated chair rail was removed. Textured wallpaper and silk drapery create a feeling of luxury. The furnishings are not matching pieces, but coordinated to work together. A beautiful silk, textured fabric was chosen for the chairs. The lighting compliments the space with its warmth and simplicity. A custom framed mirror with a different style adds interest to this well thought out room. / Updated Dining Room
Living Room
This Leawood home was featured in Kansas City Home and Gardens. The furnishings in this room were collected in Europe. The mantel was faux painted to accent the furnishings. The original white painted wood staircase spindles were replaced with black iron and wood treads were installed and stained a nice dark walnut. / Living Room
New Construction Living Room
The living room of this home is integrated into the open floor plan of the kitchen, eating area, entry and dining room. We accomplished the client's desires by designing the room in a neutral palate and used textured fabrics. This is the perfect example of a room with double duties - comfortabe enough for everyday use and sophisticated for entertaining. Off of the main living area is the master bedroom complete with custom designed bedding and pillows to add the perfect touch to the room. / New Construction Living Room
