Zeftron® Nylon Sponsors Environmental Award
What: Zeftron nylon, a premium nylon 6 commercial carpet yarn system, will sponsor the first annual Zeftron nylon Sustainable Practices Awards on Earth Day, April 22, 2009. The winner of the Zeftron nylon Sustainable Practices Award will be announced in November during Greenbuild 2009. They will receive recognition for their accomplishments and a $2,000 grand prize donation in their name to an environmentally focused charity. The winner will be also highlighted in news announcements and be featured prominently on the Zeftron nylon Sustainable Practices Award website.
Who: Open to all facility professionals in the continental United States. Additionally, architecture and interior design professionals are also encouraged to submit their entries.
When: Entries will be accepted from April 22, 2009 to Sept. 30, 2009. There is no cost to enter.

SCAD presents International Interior Design Student Competition: LINK'Design
What: The 2009 International Interior Design Student Competition, presented by the Savannah College of Art and Design, invites students throughout international colleges and universities working in three-student multidisciplinary teams to develop a 4-D visitor experience for a United States National Park Service National Monument that incorporates the historical, ecological, economic and cultural issues surrounding the site.
Who: This competition is open to all students who are enrolled full-time at a college or university. Proof of enrollment required
When: The LINK'Design registration deadline is March 13, 2009 and the deadline for competition submission is April 10, 2009.

Healthcare Environment Awards 2009
What: Recognizing innovative designs that enhance the quality of healthcare delivery, Contract magazine along with the Center for Health Design honor distinctive designs in healthcare at the Healthcare Environment Awards.
Who: The competition is open to all industry related professionals and students.
