Recruiting and Retaining Emerging Professionals- A Chapter Model.
This resource speaks to the importance of engaging ASID emerging professionals (EPs) on a chapter level. ASID EPs are identified as practitioner members who have been practicing less than five years. Primarily this includes recent graduates who have advanced from student to allied membership, but professional and IP Rep members can also self-identify as EP. The chapter model provides strategies on promoting advancement to graduates. Additionally, tactics are offered on how to engage EPs by welcoming them into the chapter, inviting them to serve in appropriate chapter leadership positions and providing programming of interest for this target audience.
