Oliver Interiors, LLC, designs interiors recognized for innovative use of space, exacting architectural details, and thorough lighting design, blended with the richly nuanced work of artisans. Firm principal Christina Oliver has successfully incorporated a life begun as a social worker with a distinguished family legacy in design and architecture to establish a reputation at the forefront of New England design services. She has established relationships with a wide array of artisans who are talented with furniture, glass, paint and textiles. Her collaborative environment includes the vision of the client, input from architects and builders, and support from staff.
Services Offered
Oliver Interiors serves the residential, hospitality and commercial markets, working closely with clients and collaborating with architects, contractors, and artisans. The firm's designs represent a client's needs and desires, often through innovative uses of space and the talented inclusion of finishing details.
Awards
2012 ASID New England Design Excellence Award, 2012 Design New England MIDDIES Award, for mentoring new designers, 2011 ASID New England First Place Residential Kitchen Award, 2010 Boston Architectural College Alumni in Practice Award. Christina's commitment to the interior design profession has led her to leadership positions with both IIDA and more recently as president of the New England Chapter of ASID. She currently serves on the board of the Massachusetts Interior Design Coalition, a group working toward professional recognition for interior designers. Recently, she was selected to serve as one of several local National ASID spokespersons. We often work with artisans to design custom furniture that will complement existing heirlooms and architecture. In smaller homes, rooms can be designed to serve many purposes while maintaining a beautiful cohesive flow. / Newton Highlands Residence
Newton Bathroom Renovation
Our design team is accustomed to working with both new construction, and adding updated elements to older homes. Much thought was given to keeping and complementing the Colonial architecture's small intimate spaces. The light reflective colors, small pedestal sink, low curved soaking tub and the small floor tiles complement one another to aid in making the bathroom seem spacious. / Newton Bathroom Renovation
Waban Master Bath
This master bathroom was featured on HGTV's "I Want That!  Baths" "Designer Christina Oliver was called in to offer up this stunning master bathroom design. The blend of wide-open spaces, warm South Pacific tones and autumn-color slate tile is the backbone of Oliver's design. A-Frame
"Rustic Contemporary" was the overall concept developed by Oliver Interiors at the begining of the project. All decisions for the finishes, cabinetwork, and furniture for this country house were simplified by this concept. Special pieces by artisans add to the incredible beauty of this home. / A-Frame
