Barbara Marini, FASID, IDEC
Barbara Marini is principal of her own commercial interior design firm, Marini Interiors Inc. since 1987. She recently served in the capacity of interior design program chair at the International Academy of Design and Technology in Troy, MI and successfully led the CIDA accreditation. She has been actively engaged in interior design education for over 15 years, including at the College for Creative Studies and Eastern Michigan University and is a frequent speaker on design related issues. Barb is currently a doctoral candidate at EMU in the College of Educational Leadership.

Rachelle Schoessler Lynn, FASID, CID, LEED AP BD+C
Rachelle Schoessler Lynn is a senior associate with Meyer, Scherer & Rockcastle in Minneapolis and serves as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Minnesota. Schoessler Lynn is a frequent lecturer on sustainable design and workplace issues and has received numerous professional accolades, including ASID Minnesota Designer of Distinction and one of "40 under 40" from the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal.

Lisa Henry, FASID, LEED AP
Lisa Henry is the Knoll Southwest region architecture and design director. Her work at Knoll is focused on developing ideas and implementing leading-edge workplace solutions for corporate office design, based on the company’s research.

Vincent G. Carter, FASID
Vincent G. Carter was a founding member on the licensing board that implemented the nation’s first interior design practice act. Carter has had a distinguished career in interior design and facilities management in the government sector where he currently serves as a senior program manager and architect for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
 
Matthew DeGeeter, ASID, LEED AP ID+C
Matthew DeGeeter is a former co-chair of the ASID Student Affairs Council and a member of the ASID Emerging Professionals Advisory Council. He is a contributor to HealthCare Design and Contract magazine websites, as well as his own blog, and was featured as part of the ASID Thought Leader project.
 
Steffany Hollingsworth, ASID, NMLID
Steffany Hollingsworth is founding partner of HVL Interiors in Santa Fe, N.M., and is an active member of ASID. She most recently served as member and chair of the ASID Student Advisory Council and also on the National Nominating Committee and Chapter Support Team, as well as a term as New Mexico chapter president.
 
Barbara J. Huelat, FASID, EDAC, AAHID
Barbara J. Huelat is a noted expert in healthcare design. She is the author of Healing Environments: Design for the Body, Mind & Spirit and is a founding board member of the Symposium on Healthcare Design, as well as the American Academy of Healthcare Interior Designers.
 
Sonya B. Odell, FASID
Sonya B. Odell is an acclaimed healthcare and office interior designer, also known for her business acumen and dedication to the profession. An active member of the Texas chapter, she also served as member and co-chair of the ASID Industry Advisory Council, and in various positions with CIDA, NCIDQ and AAHID. Odell has used her years of experience with architectural and interior design firms, as well as, working for an utility and academic medical center to form a collaborative firm. Her firm is composed of various experienced designers and architects providing services for healthcare and institutional operations, planning, and ongoing design services.
 
Laura McDonald Stewart, ASID, LEED AP
Laura McDonald Stewart is the founder of PLiNTH & CHiNTZ, the online magazine that prepares a new generation of designers to enter the workforce and educates the public about the interior design industry. Stewart also manages METROCON Expo & Conference for the ASID Texas Chapter and has served as the chapter’s president as well as on several national councils, including the ASID Chapter Support Team.

Joan Kaufman, ASID, LEED AP
Joan Kaufman is a past chair of the ASID Chapter Support Team and a past president of the ASID Illinois Chapter. Kaufman has received many awards for both design and service to the profession, including several ASID Presidential Citations and national awards for lighting design.

 

Industry Partner Representative

Jen Bruno
Jen Bruno is the national training manager for Hansgrohe, Industry Partner of ASID, serving as the company's main representative to ASID since 2008. She has been integral in hosting ASID events and CEU programs nationwide.
