A Cook's Kitchen
This kitchen remodel was a regreen project. Existing wood floors were patched to match. Cabinets were reused and reconfigured. New cabinets added extra storage. Island top is local walnut wood. Mother of pearl tile is left over from button industry and made by hand. TV armoire was repurposed for china storage. Fluorescent lighting fixtures. Non toxic paint. Non toxic adhesive. Corner turn cabinet with three triangle shaped bins for recycle. Stand alone freezer for local meats and bulk food. A complete upgrade of insulation was done at the same time with new insulation under kitchen floor/basement, attic, and all knee wall spaces.
