My client had dreamed of living in a space like a SOHO loft in New York City, in which the walls were big, for big art, and there was a volume of space large enough for sculpture to be displayed. This building let us do that for her. Art was purchased in San Francisco, St. Helena in the Napa Valley, Chicago, and Dallas to add to her existing collection. The 55 ft. long space was divided into cozy spaces for dining and conversation so that the volume of the space was not overwhelming. Soft contemporary furnishings were mixed with French and Asian antiques to create interest.
