I have been in the design and construction industry for 15 years, having gained a degree a certifications along the way. My focus is mainly kitchen and bath design, although I do design with cabinetry for every room in the home, including laundry and mudrooms, home offices and libraries, entertainment centers and breakfronts/hutch pieces. I design built-in cabinetry and mouldings to fit the space, usage and style of the homeowner, facilitating the use of the space while maintaining beautiful aesthetics. I am a CKD, which is Certified Kitchen Designer, as designated by the NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association), which designation was gained by education, experience, and successful passage of industry examination. I eat, breathe and sleep design, having travelled to Italy on several occasions and been inspired by the great artists, artisans and architects of Western culture.
I am active in my industry associations, including having held Board positions on Northern New Jersey NKBA chapter, and various committee positions with both NKBA and ASID (American Society of Interior Designers).
I am a yearly attendee of KBIS, the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show, where new products, services, technologies and innovations are unveiled to the North American industry.
Finally, I am a freelance writer to the industry, contributing regularly to ASP1RE magazine and other publications.
