Clients were seeking a complete kitchen renovation to highlight their unique collection of hand made ceramics. Along with a penchant for the Arts and Crafts movement, a recent refrigerator purchase influenced the overall design. The design utilizes the warm tones of cherry wood cabinets balanced by white custom elements throughout. Glass hardware provides a jewel-like sparkle. / Mount Bonnell Kitchen

Emerald green walls set the dramtic tone for this master bedroom suite, offering an intimate feel to a large space. Contrasting with the walls is a large upholstered headboard which provides a padded surface to sit against while reading in bed. A sitting area is also provided as a mini-reading retreat away from the activity in the rest of the home.

The master bathroom is a luxurious spa retreat with a dramatic color palette of emerald green walls and pristine white surfaces. Textural interest is added with contrasting bands of pebbles set into a field of smooth white tiles. The tub is located on the central axis of the room and creates a dramatic focal point as its sleek white surface sharply contrasts with the texture of the pebble floor. Custom designed floating cabinets seem to hover in mid air reinforcing the clean lined aesthetic.

The kitchen powerfully combines ample work space and sleek, energy-saving appliances. In the 175-square-foot space, there are 35 cabinets, 18 drawers, and nine open shelves. The countertops are made of a quartz aggregate that is heat-, stain-, and scratch-resistant. A back splash of recycled glass tiles adds an iridescent focal point and ties the color scheme together. Recessed and overhead lighting, as well as lights above and below the cabinets, provide visual precision and comfort.
