Traditional Furnishings Accented with Contemporary Art

This client had a strong preference for contemporary art. Some of her favorites include Roy Fairchild and Harry Guttman. But despite
her inclination for contemporary art, she absolutely loved traditional furnishings. The solution to mixing these preferences was
provided by the use of a strong color palette. The richness of the color and texture of the upholstered fabrics harmonizes perfectly with
the paintings. Adding skirts to the wing chairs gives a fresh look to a traditional style. A classic style cocktail table using modern
materials of brass and glass works well over the colorful rug.
