Services Offered
One's home is their personal sanctuary providing security, happiness and a renewed sense of spirit. Using a "client driven" design approach ensures our team will create homes reflecting our client's unique truths about their lifestyles and personalities. We ask questions, listen carefully and make an emotional connection with our client and involve them every step of the way so their home is all about them, for them and supports their individual needs. As a result, no two of our projects are alike. Every home design has a unique story to tell, that is driven by each client's functional requirements. The function or activity drive the selection and placement of furnishings and circulation paths, which then determine placement and integration of supportive features such as focal points, fireplaces, lighting and electronics. Finally, the finishes and decor are added to support the function and embellish the overall design. We also pay special attention to weaving the exterior architectural character into our interior design solution so that the home has a totally unified and integrated feel. Our goal is to remain positive, keep communication open and acknowledge that everyone's voice counts in the creative dialogue which will lead us to develop more successful and holistic, "client driven" solutions.

Fee Structures
Our fees are based on the type of project and the scope of work to be done. We divide our type of project into (A)interior design and (B)interior decorating. Interior design includes everything but decorating, such as development of construction documents, finish selection and documents, lighting & switching design; house floor plan development, coordination with builders, etc. Interior decoration starts when construction starts, and includes the selection and purchasing of furnishings, art, accessories, table lamps, rugs, etc. Interior design services are provided on an hourly basis, an hourly basis with a not to exceed maximum or on a lump sum. If the total scope of work is defined, we can provide a lump sum amount. For interior decoration services, if we purchase all the furnishings, we provide our services at wholesale cost plus a %. Our fees are included in the % markup on furnishing purchases, which remains below the retail cost. If we are not purchasing furnishings, we will proceed on an hourly basis. We invoice every two weeks for the work completed during that time period. We also invoice for reimbursable expenses, which are any cost we incur on behalf of the project and client, such as mileage, reproduction of drawings, overnight shipping, etc.
