| Biography | A Cognitive Psychologist, Jay holds a BA in Psychology/English, an MA & PhD in Experimental Psychology. Jay has been an Organizational Behavior Specialist, Associate Professor of Psychology at Loma Linda U, Chair of the Department of Psychology at La Sierra U, and adjunct professor at Andrews U, Hope College, & Grand Valley State U. With over 55 publications and 300 presentations, Jay is an associate editor of Ergonomics in Design, former newsletter editor for the Environmental Design Technical Group of HFES, and frequent editorial reviewer. Past Public Director on AIA’s Board of Directors (‘05-‘06), Jay is a member of the Society for Industrial & Organizational Psychology, the Human Factors & Ergonomics Society, the American Psychological Association, the Association for Psychological Science, and Sigma Xi. Personally, Jay enjoys the beach, birding, reading, hiking, jogging, music, and writing. |

This interactive seminar explores the latest research on the mental foundations for creativity and creative behavior—along with suggestions for how to guarantee a context within your organization that encourages and fosters creativity. |
