Dora Brahms Award Application Form 2010



The Dora Brahms Award is open biennially to educational institutions on behalf of their students in historic preservation and/or restoration studies, to encourage and support the advancement of professional activities in historic preservation and/or restoration.

Dear Applicant,

There are four parts to this application. In order to complete part two, you will need to provide a list and description of historic preservation / restoration courses and activities you have been involved in at the sponsoring school or institution.  In part three, you will need to submit the following: a brief abstract of your project (max. 50 words) and a project proposal (max. 1000 words). In part four, you will need to submit a brief biographical statement (max. 100 words). It is highly recommended that you prepare these pieces in advance, and then copy and paste them into the appropriate text box in the application form. You must provide all the necessary identifying information in order to submit your application.

You have just completed the first part of your application process. To complete your application, please email the following items in one email to foundation@asid.org:

  • Photos of the project site  [ optional ]
    (e.g., PDF, JPEG or PowerPoint or Keynote presentation) [optional]


  • Photo/Headshot (High resolution 300 dpi)
    May be used for marketing purposes if an award is granted.

In addition, you must provide a letter of support from an official at the sponsoring school, which should be emailed from the author to foundation@asid.org.

This email and the letter of support must be received no later than
March 1, 2010 at 11:59 pm EST.
