Joel Polsky Prize Application



The Joel Polsky Prize recognizes outstanding academic contributions to the discipline of interior design through literature or visual communication.

Dear Applicant,

There are four parts to this application. In order to complete part two, you will need to submit a description of your publication or visual communication (max. 250 words). In part four, you will need to submit a brief biographical statement (max. 100 words). It is highly recommended that you prepare these pieces in advance, and then copy and paste them into the appropriate text box in the application form. You must provide all the necessary identifying information in order to submit your application.

You have just completed the first part of your application process. To complete your application, please email the following items in one email to foundation@asid.org:

  • Publication (book or monograph) or visual communication (informational video tapes, CD-ROMs, DVD, and the like)


  • Photo/Headshot (High resolution 300 dpi)
    May be used for marketing purposes if an award is granted.

If you have hard copy print or visual material to submit, you must provide 6 copies and mail them to ASID Foundation, 608 Massachussetts Ave., NE, Washington, DC 20002-6006.

March 1, 2010 at 11:59 pm EST.
