Mabelle Wilhelmina Boldt Memorial Scholarship Application



The Mabelle Wilhelmina Boldt Scholarship is open to students who are enrolled in or have applied for admission to a graduate-level interior design program at a degree-granting institution. Applicants must have been practicing designers for a period of at least five years prior to returning to graduate school level.

Dear Applicant,

There are four parts to this application. In order to complete part three, you will need to submit the following: an abstract or description of your research project (max. 250 words), your rationale for selecting this project, and a description of the proposed research methodology (max. 250 words). In part four, you will need to submit a brief biographical statement (max. 100 words). It is highly recommended that you prepare these pieces in advance, and then copy and paste them into the appropriate text box in the application form. You must provide all the necessary identifying information in order to submit your application.

  • Undergraduate Transcript (may be sent directly from the school to the ASID Foundation)


  • A letter of recommendation addressing the applicant's ability to complete a graduate program.


  • Photo/Headshot (High resolution 300 dpi)
    May be used for marketing purposes if an award is granted.
