Real World Design Week

For Chapters

RealWorld DesignWeek, November 4-10, 2012, is a program designed to encourage relationships between interior design students and their role models in the industry.

Through organized shadow day experiences hosted by practicing design professionals, RealWorld DesignWeek helps to:

  • Educate future industry leaders on professional practices
  • Provide networking opportunities and foster mentoring
  • Sustain the interior design profession

For details on how promotion of this program to membership will benefit your ASID chapter, visit the other links in this web section.

If your chapter has best practices that you would like to share with ASID, we would love to hear them! No chapter is the same and we want to give each region the opportunity to make RWDW the best it can be for your local members. Contact rwdw@asid.org with your ideas or suggestions to share!

New York Metro Chapter leaders Jacqueline Hosford, Pam Durante and Lori Falk helped to plan a RWDW event with 20 students in 2011! NY Chapter Leaders
