I obtained my Associate of Arts Degree/Business in 1974 and an Associate of Science Degree/Interior Design in 1998. I continue to enroll and complete new college courses as they are added to the curriculum and have maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout my college career. Speaker at local colleges on CAD applications within the design industry and careers available to interior design students. Published in the local area newspapers. D M Designs is a full service interior design studio focusing on client satisfaction as well as their safety and well-being. Services range from designing spaces on new construction and remodels through the last detail which makes a house your home. This is accomplished through good communication between D M Designs and the client to ascertain the client’s needs and wants, then taking this process to the next step to design a space that is pleasing to the client and one which reflects their personality. D M Designs also works closely with builders, tradesmen and artisans to insure that the project is completed properly, within budget and on time. D M Designs' philosophy is that the client is an integral part of the design process and pays close attention to the client’s desire for the finished product; each client is unique, therefore, each design is unique to that client. I take great pleasure in designing a space through to completion and making my client’s dream a reality. D M Designs services include: CAD drawings and documentation, space planning, kitchen and bathroom design, color/finish selection, custom bed and window coverings, new construction and home remodel, custom designed millwork, home offices, entertainment areas and other aspects of interior design.

Fee Structures

The first meeting with the client is complimentary -- at NO charge -- where the scope of the project is discussed. And, at this first meeting the fee structure is discussed and agreed upon. Every project is unique; therefore, D M Designs employs a flexible fee structure based on the size and scope of each project. A fixed or square foot fee may be utilized where a client has well defined needs; an hourly fee is utilized in instances where it suits the project. Purchases made through D M Designs are discounted from retail, where applicable.
