About
Elizabeth R. Swartz, ASID is an award-winning, published interior design professional with over 25 years of experience. She began her career in New York City where she designed homes and retail spaces as an associate of Zim-Lerner, Inc. After relocating to Boston, she worked with Professional Designs, Inc. where she planned and specified large scale commercial projects. Following that position she joined The Stubbins Associates of Cambridge, MA where the assignments included smaller scale commercial projects such as executive offices and meeting spaces. In 1985 she founded ERS Design where she continued to specialize in custom residential and small scale commercial projects. Elizabeth is known for her versatility in design - from traditional to contemporary - as well as her use of scale and color. Her interiors are elegant, comfortable and individually designed to embrace her clients’ tastes and lifestyles. She is personally involved in all of the firm’s projects. Elizabeth was featured in The Perfect Home Series “Leading Residential Interior Designers” which showcased several of her diverse projects. In 2006, she was a winner of the New England Luxury Living Award Competition for her mountain home design of a private estate in New Hampshire. She previously received the Presidential Citation from the New England Chapter of ASID. Elizabeth is a graduate of Cornell University with a degree in Design and Environmental Analysis. She is a Professional Member of the American Society of Interior Designers (www.ASID.org) and is certified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (www.NCIDQ.org).
