As a large specialty design practice in New York City, with a broad base of high end retailers as clients, TPG Architecture is in an ideal position within the industry. During this session, TPG Retail Studio Director and Design Principal, Alec Zaballero, will explore case studies of luxury projects and review three distinct aspects of retail design for luxury brands. What defines a luxury brand? Is there a socioeconomic basis? Zaballero will discuss these questions and delve deeply into the design process using case studies for projects such as Barneys New York and Cadence Cycling & Multisport Center. The program will close with a discussion of the changing face of luxury.
