Carol Joyce Scott, Student ASID

About
Hello, I am Carol Scott owner Entrepreneur of Carol Studio Interiors. I am a native houstonian, and student at the Houston Community College Central Campus. My background consist of a past career in Fashion, and Marketing and Event Planning. I decided to incorporate my fashion and Event Planning skills into the Interior Design world, and establish my own business while attending school. In doing so I landed my first job in the year 2011, from a client who wanted her husbands "Man Cave" re-decorated; and from there it landed me other job assignments. They were jobs for clients who were on really tight budgets, but I was determined to do the best with the budget they had. They were all satisfied and happy. I feel that Fashion, which is in the same catagory to textiles, color, style and design, all go together to creat an "Image", whether its designing a person a new outfit, or a room. I enjoy creating new images and seeing my visions come to life, and having my clients be satisfied from the results. I specialize in a careful listening ear, to give my customers great service and taking my clients needs first, to ensure that we obtain the vision they have in mind. I focus mostly on residential property, Bachelors Boudoirs, and Kitchen Organization. Give me a Call! 832-439-3482
Services Offered
We specialize in Bachelors Decorating. Many men are trying to get into the decor and design of their homes. But some just don't know where to start. Bachelor's Boudoir Design and Decor, is all about what the "Guy" wants, from accent walls, to bedding, window treatments, artwork accents and furniture to fit his style and his taste. We not only do bedrooms, but other rooms in the home as well. Like Kitchen Organization; this is a service that shows the Bachelor how to purchase the right untensils, dishes, pots pans, appliances that will give balanced and function to the space, so that he may have easy accessibility for cooking, entertaining or just your average daily functions. We believe in getting the bachelor involved in the process of getting his ideas into motion. This task gives the bachelor the opportunity to get his creative juices flowing in the design process, to capture a vision of what he would like to see in his space. If you know of a Bachelor that is need of a room make-over have him to give us a call. Consultations are available. for more information: Please visit my website www.carolstudiointeriors.com
Awards
Although I have not won any awards. I am an author of a self help book, plus a two year guest speaker pretaining to that book. They thought it would great for me to speak at the conference to the students about my drive and accomplishments to write the book. Also how the book has helped me to get my career started. I spoke in 2011 and they called me back as the featured guest speaker for the October 2012, "National Women's Small Business Month". The book is currently being revised for publishing.
Fee Structures
Some Fee's for services are available on my wesite; @ www.carolstudiointeriors.com Other fee's are based on the design or decorating services per consultation.
