Dufner Heighes is a full-service design practice established in New York City in 1999. Whether working on residential, corporate or retail projects, our work encompasses architecture, interior and furniture design, and art consultancy in the creation and expression of client identity. While espousing a modern design philosophy, we never forget a project’s history, location or function. The highly personal environments created emphasize natural materials and texture, light, color, proportion and flow. Projects range in scale from the renovation of New York City interiors to ground-up construction on a 14,000 square foot single-family residence outside of Seattle. Regardless of scale or location, the Dufner Heighes design process always begins with the client, investigating the specifics of the program, but also discovering the more subtle requirements that will personalize the project. By combining architectural design with interior and furniture design, we are expertly qualified to provide a client with a complete environment attuned to their lifestyle.
