Services Offered

August Interiors is a full service design studio specializing in highly custom residential and commercial design. We are very considerate and respectful of each of our clients' personal taste. We allow the design process to evolve with an open mind. During the Concept Phase of the design process, I interview you to determine your needs and goals, and we establish a preliminary schedule and budget. Next, I visit the site to measure the interior spaces so that I can begin the planning process. We may also inventory existing furnishings and items that you wish to use in the project. Plans and sketches are prepared to illustrate the design concepts. Color palettes and samples of fabrics, furniture, wall coverings, floor coverings, window treatments and lighting are presented to you to help you visualize each design concept. I usually begin by presenting you with three different design schemes. This is when your original design goals begin to evolve. We work together to form and refine a design scheme.

Fee Structures

Our fee structures are tailored around the uniquness of each project. In most cases we work with an hourly fee. We will provide a one time no-cost, on-site interview to get acquainted with your design preferences. If you do decide to procure our services beyond the initial interview a proposal is prepared for your review. A retainer is always secured at the onset of a project and determined by the scope of work and size of the project. Work begins after an accepted proposal is returned with the requested retainer. We can help you determine if your budget is appropriate to acheive your desired outcome.
