About

I worked as an Interior Designer for three and a half years out of college, and am currently working as a project engineer. The main reason I transitioned to work in construction is to be able to create design based on constructability. A design is nothing if it can’t be built, whether the reason is budget, feasibility or material availability. Working in construction has enabled me to effectively communicate with subcontractors/ contractors and maintain a straightforward relationship during the execution of work. My education is as follows: Fall, 1998-May, 2002: Northern Arizona University, cumulative G.P.A. 3.5; Bachelor of Science in Interior Design and a minor in Construction Management ASID student chapter member from 2000- 2002 Allied member, ASID 2002-present AGC student chapter member from 2002- 2003 30-Hour OSHA Certification

My main objective is to create stunning, functional structures that are the foundations for successful lifestyles and businesses. The most important element of my career is the relationships developed with my clients, based on trust and understanding. I want to create environments that fulfill my clients’ dreams. Most clients have a vague picture of what they want; designers are able to create and expand that picture into an exceptional space. Designers have a gift of visualizing things that most people cannot conceive. I am thankful for that gift. One of the most satisfying elements of design is knowing when the ideal space has been created. The ideal space is one that appeals aesthetically, functions properly, meets code requirements, is executed within budget and exceeds the client’s dreams.

Fee Structures

I prefer to charge based on an hourly fee, so my clients are able to understand the time spent in a clear and consise manner. Charges for the initial interview/ consultation are dependent on the nature of the project. I accept projects in all budget ranges.
