About

Karen has won numerous first place ASID awards. She was also won ASID’s most distinguished award, the Designer of Distinction award. She has served on the following ASID committees: Showcase House , Public Relations , and the Gallery of Stars . She was chair of the ASID Showcase House committee in 2009. Karen has designed award-winning rooms in several showcase houses for ASID. In addition, she is the 2010-2011 Chapter President of the Minnesota Chapter of ASID. She has appeared on PBS’s “Hometime” as well as Kare-11 television show. Her work has been published in MSP magazine, Better Homes and Gardens Creative Home, Midwest Home, LUX DESIGN, Rob Report Exceptional Vacation Properties, Lake Minnetonka Magazine and Montana Living magazines. She was a contributing writer on the subject of Interior Design for Lux Design Magazine.

KSID Studio offers a complimentary initial interview. We learn about your vision and the scope of your project. You will learn about how our design process will help you accomplish your dreams. After we develop your vision and obtain a clear perspective on your project, we will submit a letter of agreement to detail the scope of the services you require. Our fees are personalized to each project according to the services provided and designer involvement. KSID Studio offers fixed or hourly design service options. We work on all size design projects from accessorizing and freshening a room to large new construction and remodeling projects.
