Kenneth Walter, originally from Chicago graduated from Brooks College in Long Beach, California. He worked for three small interior design firms and global giant HBA prior to establishing his firm. Gray & Walter was originally known as Ann Milligan Gray, Inc. from 1970 to 1988, in 1989 we became known as Gray & Walter Associates, Ltd. Awards: Recipients of Chicago Home Book Gold Award in four categories. Recipient of Best Interior Design Firm in Chicago by Crain's Chicago Business, 2004. We have been published in Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, Chicago Home and Garden, Restaurant & Hotel Design and The Chicago Tribune.

Kenneth Walter describes his style as "eclectic classicism" and loves working with people who enjoy the process of interior design. "Interior Design can be infuriating due to crazy vendors and long lead times, but the final outcome can really be life altering", says Walter. Fee Structures

Our fees vary depending upon the project. Most residential projects are done on an hourly basis with a percentage for purchases made. We also do residential on a retail basis if the client prefers. Commercial projects are done on a fee basis with a smaller percentage for purchases made.
