With over 20 years of design experience, Lauradeen Potretzke loves all aspects of design from contemporary to traditional. She has a passion for working with people and understands that each of her clients is unique. She believes that trust is the cornerstone of every successful client relationship. A strong sense of personal integrity, along with her design philosophy, has inspired many lifelong clients. Lauradeen has an A.A.S degree in Interior Design from Dakota County Technical College. She also has over 15 years experience as an owner/operator in the hospitality industry.

As versatile as they are talented, our award-winning Design Studio professionals can offer you trusted advice at every stage of the process — from concept development, space planning and working with your architect to selecting accessories. Our designers have access to a vast array of custom furnishings from around the world plus thousands of in-stock items that reflect your style — including draperies, window treatments, slipcovers and reupholstery services plus carpeting, area rugs, accessories, lighting, fine art, wall coverings and special wall finishes. And, when you purchase your furnishings through one of our Design Studio professionals, the designer will help you select the items at no additional charge.

Fee Structures

Making it as comfortable as our finest easy chair. Working with the Design Studio is easy. Simply call for a no-obligation appointment or stop in and chat with the designer on duty. During our initial complimentary consultation, we’ll listen carefully to your needs and create a plan that is right for you. When you purchase your furnishings through one of our Design Studio professionals, the designer will help you select the items at no additional charge. If you’d like advice from our designers but choose not to purchase our merchandise, consultation will be billed on a per-hour basis. Services may include consulting with your architect or contractor, shopping for non-Gabberts merchandise or arranging your present furniture and accessories. You may be asked to sign a contract for consultation services.
