About
I have been creating residential and commercial interiors professionally for the past five years but it has been a passion and a hobby of mine since I was nine years old. I studied Interior Design at the American Intercontinental University in Atlanta, GA in 1998. In 2002 I got a job as a Sales Associate at The Home Depot where I gained valuable knowledge about methods and materials as well as installation, product selection and repairs. I began my own free-lance design company in 2003 and by 2004 I began working for an Architectural Firm in Cleveland, OH as the Lead Designer. In the same year I received the Presidential Community Service Award for a bedroom renovation that I worked on for a non-profit organization called New Avenues of Independence, which houses mentally and physically disabled men and women throughout Cuyahoga County. In December 2005 I graduated from Virginia Marti College of Art and Design with an Associates Degree in Interior Design and Applied Business. And by March 2006 I was hired on as the Lead Interior Designer for Mill Distributors Inc. in Aurora, OH where I worked on Hotels and Condos, Healthcare Facilities and Restaurants. There are 2 properties that I have worked on that are published on the internet: Cruisers Bar and Grill located at the Holiday Inn in Hudson, OH and the Holiday Inn Express and Suites in Moriss, IL. My portfolio is availble for upon request for a complete overview of previous projects.
