The 2012 Legislative Symposium held in Atlanta from March 16-18 was successful in bridging chapter leaders and advocates. The weekend-long event provided attendees with the opportunity to network, foster fellowship and learn new legislative strategies, all while earning four continuing education credits (0.4). Dynamic speakers facilitated educational training on a wide variety of topics such as implementing ASID policy, proper testimony for public hearings, and expectations of a lobbyist. Attendees, national leadership and ASID staff are dedicated to continuing the shared goals of advancing the profession of interior design and expanding opportunities for interior designers. We thank everyone who attended this wonderful event.
