A native of Houston, TX, Loren Jacobs received her business degree from Tulane University. Inspired by all the sights and sounds of New Orleans, Loren decided to combine her business savvy with her passion for design and return to school. She ascertained a bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture and Design from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Recognized while in design school for her bold, sophisticated visions and confident out of the box design solutions, Loren Jacobs was selected to feature as the student designer in the series premiere of “Designer Finals” on Home and Garden Television. Loren Jacobs began her interior design career with Clement Mac, an innovative design firm in San Francisco, working on projects for both residential and commercial clients all over the country. Loren’s work experience and her travel abroad rooted in her a desire to create spaces that are timeless and sophisticated, infused with personal touches and unexpected flair. She believes there is beauty in all styles and welcomes the opportunity to seamlessly blend the old and the new, creating environments that are unique to the people who inhabit them. With a variety of talents, cutting edge style, and impeccable service, Loren truly shapes her designs by the client’s personal needs and desires. Loren Jacobs is now the principal of her own full service design firm in Austin, LJ Interiors.
