About
Mo, as she is fondly called by her friends and clients, is the owner of Mo Linquist Solutions which incorporates PersonPlace Consulting, a Pyramid feng shui business, and WindWater Windows, a custom window treatment business. The mission of her work is to "Make Life Better" which concentrates on solving life issues using the immediate environment and motivating her clients to feel good in their space. As a young girl in Canton, OH Marsha had a special way with space and fabrics. She designed clothing, room décor and accessories. In college she majored in fashion merchandising and as a young mother of four founded Mommy and Me Collection, when she designed a unique diaper bag and accessories that were sold nationally. Eventually she put aside the entrepreneurial spirit to join Ethan Allen as an interior designer and found a great love again for designing space. She worked for Stock’s Custom Draperies during a period when she needed to be closer to home for the needs of her growing family and became an expert in custom window design. Eventually Ethan Allen beckoned her to return, however by this time she had become certified in Feng Shui and incorporated it into her work designing spaces for clients. She became the soft goods specialist of two EA stores in Northeastern OH and continued until her recent move to fulfill her husband’s life long dream. She now resides at the beach in North Carolina with her husband, Randy. Abraham Maslow said, "When the only tool you own is a hammer, every problem begins to resemble a nail." Mo's toolbox contains many tools intended to "make life better."
Services Offered
Mo Linquist Solutions, the parent company of PersonPlace Consulting and WindWater Windows, brings you creative solutions to enhance your interior space. We believe “how your space makes you feel” is as important as how it looks. The mission of this work is to “make life better.” PersonPlace Consulting integrates Mo’s 20 year background in interior design. She promotes the interdisciplinary science of the person/place connection known as pyramid feng shui. Mo is on the faculty of the Feng Shui Institute of America www.windwater.com and teaches across the country. She is certified to train ASID members a number of CEU’s on the subject of pyramid feng shui and can be contacted to teach in your area. PersonPlace concentrates on residential and commercial projects but recently has contracted much work with realtors in staging homes for sale using PFS. A dynamic speaker, Mo is available to speak for your group or organization. She can also be heard teaching teleconferences for the Feng Shui Institute International www.fengshui-ii.org of which she currently holds the title of board president. While feng shui can sound rather mystic, the goal of having your personal environment in harmony and balance with the natural environment makes a lot of sense. Aesthetics, energy flow and common sense are the basis for the advice offered by pyramid feng shui practitioners. Pyramid Feng Shui is a school of thought developed in the United States using psychology, sociology, cultural anthropology and cutting edge scientific research on how the body responds to space. WindWater Windows brings you absolutely fabulous interior creations designed to welcome the beauty of the outdoors in and also provide for sun control, privacy and aesthetics.
