Spec's Design Group has 5 full time designers on staff. We are NCIDQ certified and 2 of our staff members are LEED-AP. We have been in business for 22 years.
Services Offered
DESIGN MATTERS. Spec's Design Group is a LEED-AP full service interior design firm. Our specialties include Corporate, Retail, Healthcare, Office, Mixed Use Developments and Facility Management. We believe in our clients and in the importance of listening to their ideas, needs and hopes - as well as concerns - throughout the design process. We believe in integrated project management. Our senior team partners stay connected throughout the design and implementation stages of each project, providing each client with the secure knowledge that Spec's Design will deliver a superior design on time and within budget. Fee Structures
Fee structures vary based upon the project: - Fixed Fee - Hourly, Not to Exceed Fee - Hourly - $/Square Foot - % of contract complete, or phase fee's The first hour of consultation is free. The 'Scope of Work' is identified at this initial meeting. A design Fee proposal follows, which includes the design fee for the scope of work identified.

Easthampton Savings Bank maintains a solid financial presence in Western Massachusetts. Spec's Design group selected all of the interior finishes and furniture for their new Westfield, MA branch bank. / FINANCIAL: Easthampton Savings Bank, Westfield, MA
EDUCATIONAL: UMASS Provost Office, Amherst, MA
Elegant, tasteful and sleek describes the ambiance created for the Provost's Office at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst campus. The project included both private office and workstation designs, along with a 24 person conference room. CORPORATE: TSM Design, Springfield, MA
Spec's Design Group worked with TSM designs to create a 'funky and energetic' interior environment to compliment TSM's new corporate identity. The space is slightly retro with bold splashes of color. / CORPORATE: TSM Design, Springfield, MA
RETAIL:       Barnes & Noble @ Montgomery College, Rockville, MD
Spec's Design Group has designed over 80 College & University Bookstores nationally for Barnes & Noble College Booksellers. The scope of work includes site inspections, field documentation, store planning, finishes, signage & mural designs, fixture specifications and contract documents. Each store is custom designed to promote the school's campus life energy and needs. / RETAIL: Barnes & Noble @ Montgomery College, Rockville, MD
RETAIL: College of the Bahama's Bookstore, Nassau, Bahama
Spec's Design Group renovated a 60,000 square foot building for the College of the Bahama's. The project included a Graduate Research School, complete with classrooms,lounges and a faculty boardroom. 20,000 SF of the project was devoted to a new campus bookstore, complete with a full service cafe.
