About
Beautiful architecture and how it can be complemented and identified on its interior has always fascinated me. Coupled with an appreciation for art, European influence and furnishings, I was guided to do my interior design training at Drexel University, a 4 year program. I started an internship during training at Drexel University and dedicated the next 12 years as a design assistant at a residential interior design firm in Merion Station, Pennsylvania. The years spent at this prestigious firm not only solidified my passion for this creative field, but gave me the experience to tackle difficult projects and all aspects of the interior design business. I developed lasting relationships with vendors, trade professionals and contractors and created an extensive resource base. Michelle Wenitsky Interior Design, Allied Member ASID, was founded in 1998 and has been completing challenging projects both large and small in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maine, Florida, and California for our clients’ residences, vacation homes and offices. Repeat clients and referrals confirm our dedication to providing each and every project with exceptional service and good design.
Services Offered
“During the course of my 20 year career in Interior Design, I have learned that the most important part of my role as a designer is to “listen” to the needs and visions of my clients. The end result of a design project can only be fully appreciated if the designer has creatively and successfully fulfilled the aesthetic and functional needs of the client.” As a full service interior design firm specializing in residential design, we begin a relationship with our client as early as the architectural planning and building phase. With enthusiasm, patience, and experience, we guide our client through the early design stage and selection process for the builder helping them to visualize design concepts, identify their style, save time, and avoid costly mistakes. Interior architectural detailing is introduced to influence the style of the interior and develop its identity. As the creative process continues, we present unique, quality design solutions for all aspects of the project to ultimately produce timeless, casually elegant interiors that reflect the lifestyle and personal taste of our client. This includes space planning, furniture design, lighting design, color and fabric selection, wall and floor finish design, window treatment design and finishing details. Known for our exceptional attention to detail, especially with kitchens and bathrooms, we orchestrate our finest craftsmen to carry out our designs with care for our client and their home. Our passion for interior design is evident whether we’re doing a traditional, eclectic or modern interior and we are deeply inspired by the challenges that we are presented with and the transformation that unfolds…..
