Lower level bar in Parade Home
Great room in Parade House
Every aspect of this design enhances the client's art collection --- the work of a single artist accumulated over the course of twenty years. The only things that the client kept from his previous apartment were the paintings and a leather-bound set of the complete works of Shakespeare inherited from his father. / Living with Art
We often use large-scale photographs to help enhance a client’s image. Vintage photographs of the surrounding area on Park Avenue help give this law office a sense of stability. When the Army Space Command Center in Colorado Springs requested images that reflected the science of space exploration and the military use of space from Leonardo to the current day, the largest image we used was over twenty feet tall. / Law Office on Park Avenue
When this home office in the corner of our client’s living room is not in use the equipment is completely concealed. The direction in which the printer pulls out maximizes legroom when the client is working. / Custom Cabinets for a Home Office
A small room (11' x 7') can have a big impact. The wall treatment, carpet, linens and accessories were all inspired by the beautiful botanical watercolors. Neoclassical antiques like the Charles X daybed, Louis XVI chair and Regency nightstand provide a refreshing counterpoint to all of the flowers. / Retreat for a Lady
The original kitchen in this pre-war apartment on Central Park West was enlarged by combining it with an adjacent maid's room. Although the style is classic, the apartment now has all of the modern comforts. For instance, we installed central air conditioning without lowering the ceilings in the principal rooms. / Classic Kitchen

Mirrored furniture, clear shower, silver accents and crystal keep the space light and reflective, while wood and cool blues add luxury and style. Modern glass mosaics contrast beautifully against the antique toile drapery and antique claw foot tub. / Luxurious quiet retreat - master bath

Traditional, but restrained describes this family room setting. Patterns and textures add visual interest while they make a bold and clean architectural statement. / Traditional, but restrained family room
The space was large and open, literally a 2-car garage. 3 zones were created: main kitchen, butler’s pantry & bar and home office. A lawn equipment storage room converted nicely into the home office area. That left the main garage space to become the kitchen, butler’s pantry and mud room. Materials and finishes were mixed to achieve a space where both husband and wife are comfortable. The custom hood, made from a 100 year old reclaimed beam, along with stone, glass and other material choices give a balance of rustic texture with sleek, clean lines. The Rainforest granite on the island was a great finishing touch for this unique kitchen. This Garage to Gourmet Kitchen was named the 2011 National Transitional Kitchen of the Year as awarded by Signature Kitchens & Baths Magazine. / From Garage to Gourmet

"Tracey worked with us to take our concept and turn it into an eclectic, original space that is also great for entertaining. Her innovative use of color inspired us to be more whimsical." / NJASID award for design excellence in a residential kitchen (2006)
The 1950s pink and grey bath felt tired, and there wasn't enough storage or light. The new bathroom is bright and light – white tile, green glass accent liners, and sparkly white countertop embedded with crushed recycled mirror and glass. The star of the show here is the 36" high custom shapely vanity with tapered legs and lots of storage space inside.
Eco-friendly aspects include donating to Green Demolitions the 1950s grey laminate vanity, sinks and toilet to give them a new home & keep them out of the landfill, the vanity made from formaldehyde free, FSC certified wood, the water conserving dual flush Toto toilet, CaesarStone countertop made from 24% recycled content, and WaterSense certified faucets. / transitional bath with custom vanity
Appliances were relocated for maximum function and to reduce the appearance of bulk. The refrigerator, microwave and tall pantry blend in a long wall of tall cabinetry. The powerful exhaust hood is hidden behind cabinetry. The granite countertop on the island formerly contained a cooktop and now is completely available for food prep, snacking or guest mingling. Combining cherry cabinets and a red painted free-standing hutch satisfied both husband and wife. Decorative touches include pressed tin ceiling, custom lampshades on chandelier & pendant, hand painted tile, and glazed wall finish. / traditional kitchen with island
The fireplace was removed from both the kitchen and 2nd floor family room above. A French door and 3 windows were added, flooding the space with light and maximizing the garden view. The wall behind the sink was pushed out 12" to create a marble ledged bay and the windows were widened. Wall cabinets were kept to a minimum to enhance the airiness of the space. Custom solutions include locally built painted and glazed cabinets, maple countertop, farmhouse sink, open shelves with wrought iron brackets, pressed stainless steel backsplash, eco-friendly linoleum floor, and a "Command Center" hutch with decorative paint finish & pull-out recycling bin.
"I sit at the kitchen table in the sunshine and the warm tones of the room and think of you. Thanks for 'getting' me and bringing such joy into this house."

"I highly recommend Tracey for any kitchen or bath project. She has a particular flair for creating stylish updated looks for older homes. We had a challenging situation fitting a powder room into our kitchen layout but she made it feel open and spacious. I appreciate Tracey's commitment to creative excellence and originality. She produced thoughtful designs that blend form and function very well." / Red, White and "Green" kitchen
