Muriel Sackey is a Georgia based interior designer and owner of SakInteriors, Inc in Atlanta, Georgia. In developing her own firm, Muriel was able to capitalize on her passion for transforming space into original and functional interiors. Muriel’s signature interiors demonstrate her sense of style, her penchant for using high-quality materials, and her solid design foundation. Muriel is always on top of the latest trends in textiles and colors, and is continuously forging into new areas in interior design with her innovative approaches to traditional and contemporary interiors. Muriel graduated with honors from American Intercontinental University (AIU) in Atlanta, Georgia with a degree in Interior Design. After graduating from AIU, Muriel gained extensive experience working as a designer for the Ai Group, and Marcia Davis and Associates in Atlanta, Georgia. Her successes are featured on the cover pages of Atlanta Home Improvement Magazine’s June 2007, 2006, and 2004 editions. Muriel was nominated as a finalist for the 2007 Young Top Designers in Atlanta by the American Society of Interior Designers Atlanta Chapter. She is an allied member of American Society of Interior Designers, and a member of Universal Design Alliance and Buckhead Business Association. Muriel is also a member of the editorial board for Atlanta Home Improvement Magazine, and founder of House of Restoration Africa, Inc, a non-profit organization to help improve the lives of families in West Africa. Fee Structures

Designer fees is based on an hourly rate. PHASE I Consultation This is done in the client’s home, which allows us to take photographs and gather information on the space. This is an opportunity for us to address any questions or concerns the client may have and to uncover any design preferences the client may have. The consultation is provided at a flat fee to our clients. Presentation This stage involves the development of a schematic design based on the information we gather from the initial consultation. We select furniture, fabric and colors, which we present to the client in their home so they can get an idea of how these items can transform the space into an exceptional interior environment. PHASE II Purchasing At SakInteriors our commitment to our clients is to deliver our interior design services within an agreed upon time frame. Upon receipt of a signed purchase order, we begin the process of acquiring the furnishings selected by our clients to begin the instillation process. Installation At this final stage in the design process, we place and arrange furniture and accessories in the client’s home adhering to the design scheme selected in the consultation phase of the project. This is also an opportunity to address any additional design needs the client may have.
