This family room highlights hand crafted tables and part of the clients' poster collection. The sofa wall was orinally much shorter as there was only a door to the foyer at the left side of the photo. Removing the door wall provided a longer wall for a sofa and opened up the view to the foyer and the living room beyond. Recessed fixtures were replaced by cable lighting which enabled art to be lit by accent spots and flood lights. Another view shows the family room as seen from the foyer. New Cherry wood custom made front doors are shown in the Shoji screen design.
The third photo shows the "before" shots of the doorway to the foyer before the door wall was removed and during construction.
