About
My college degree is a Bachelor of Arts in art history. I continued with interior design training at the New York School of Interior Design and passed the NCIDQ examination. I have taught all aspects of interior design including history of styles, lighting design, and color design. My interests include travel, theatre and art, all of which stimulate and inform my creative orientation to my work. My work has appeared in magazines and newspapers. I was in charge of the interior design department at Lord & Taylors in Scarsdale, New York until the store closed its furniture division.
Services Offered
I work on large and small projects-a room,a house, consultations on specific issues, renovations and new construction. I design furniture and design the lighting for all the spaces I design as well as spaces already designed. I also advise and specify art for interiors.
Awards
There's no information available.
Fee Structures
I charge an hourly fee for all my work. I will work as a consultant for several hours as well as designing small projects and large projects. I prefer to be part of the team on new construction and will do space planning for renovations. Lighting design is an important part of all the design work I do. I work with my clients to furnish completed spaces with art work and install them.

"serve'em up!"
This kitchen with a view keeps its focus and allows for "gathering around" when entertaining. / "serve'em up!"
"Dressing up" in the Master Bedroom
I designed this dressing table with shallow drawers for jewelry in a french polished light sycamore wood to contrast with the light grey sofa. The angular shaped knobs on the drawers repeat the shape of the art deco style lamp. And the large mirror reflects the glamour of it all. / "Dressing up" in the Master Bedroom
"Glamour Repeats Itself"
This masterbath repeats the ultramodern style motif the client likes best with the art deco shape of the mirror emphasizing "shape".The sconces light the face so no shadows will be seen and the recessed lighting gives ambient lighting for the space at night. / "Glamour Repeats Itself"
Kitchen with no window
Lighting a beautiful ceramic tile design as backsplash for a cook-top gave a focus to this windowless kitchen and the long island is a stand-in for the breakfast room which became an office. / Kitchen with no window
Contemporary Living Room
This elegant, understated, corner has beautifully clear forms in contrasting textures of cotton satin on the sofa, polished aluminum table, beaded lamp shade, pleated silk covered slipper chair, and grey/white sisal rug edged in grey-white leather. The soft shades of light grey, ivory, and peachy straw are surprisingly contrasted with sea-green walls in a house near marsh and ocean. / Contemporary Living Room / Contemporary Living Room
