MY credentials include a graduate of Fashion Institute of Technology as a fashion illustrator, certified from New York School of Interior Design and most recently certified as a staging professional. During my 28 years in the design industry I have done styling and set design for various commercials and film companies. I also co-designed model apartments and townhouses, one of which won first prize in a national competition for historic buildings in New Jersey converted to condominiums. Specializing in residential design I am passionate about function, balance and harmony in my work and reflecting my clients personality and interests in their home. Working closely with homeowners is important to discover the essence of their taste and lifestyle to best design their living space. I have a flair for the dramatic in my work and the thought that a home should be comfortable but never boring. My projects often include designing customized pieces individualized for the particular needs of the client or space. My affiliations are A.S.I.D. and Allied Board Of Trade. I am also a certified stager, which is a different focus. It is preparing a property for sale and designing the space with the prospective buyer in mind. It involves creating a positive impact on buyers the minute they walk through the door resulting in it standing out from the competition regardless of price, location and condition.
