Residential

About
Ms. Schultz is a New Jersey State Certified Interior Designer. She holds an AAS degree in interior design from Parsons School of Design and a BS degree from Boston University. She has been an interior designer for more than fifteen years. Previously, Ms. Schultz held executive and creative positions in advertising and marketing. During this time, she developed many skills that have contributed to her success as an interior designer: budgetary expertise, the ability to coordinate and manage diverse personalities, an understanding of deadlines and the ability to put the client's needs first. Her work has been featured in prominent New Jersey publications, including Design NJ, New Jersey Monthly and 201 Magazine as well as area newspapers. She has served as a member of New Jersey Monthly magazine's Design Advisory Council, has appeared on HGTV's "Designers' Challenge," and was winner of New Jersey Monthly's 2005 Designers' Choice/Designer's Challenge Award.
Services Offered
Robin Schultz creates refreshing interiors that reveal her deep appreciation for the design movements of other cultures and other eras. Clean lines, interesting but restrained detail, timelessness, and a sophisticated versatility characterize her work. The interiors that result from these sensibilities perfectly balance creativity, elegance and practicality, making them beautiful to look at but more importantly comfortable and functional with attention to the details of convenient traffic patterns and proper lighting. Whether the dominant personality of the space is traditional, contemporary or eclectic, her affection for a range of styles, including Mission, Arts and Craft, Art Deco and 18th century French Country, as well as for the art and artifacts of Africa, the Caribbean and the Southwest, is evident in the way her practiced eye can skillfully blend many looks into a singular coherent design.Ms. Schultz works with clients to explore their home's potential. She is particularly sensitive to changes that will increase resale value, to refocusing rooms that have outlived their present use, to recapturing wasted space, and to reconfiguring crowded space.
