At Cabelis Interior Design, LLC, our design philosophy is to bring a fresh look to classic design forms in a way that is personal to my clients. The importance of good design can not be understated. The way an interior space is molded can impact the way we act and feel. Our goal is to take all of your functional needs and personal style in mind and work with you to develop a fresh and livable design that maximizes your enjoyment in your space. Many times, my clients know what they want and have great ideas. The challenge is bringing them to fruition. I feel my greatest asset is translating your wishes into a space that is timeless and elegant and also meets your specific needs. Other clients just don't know where to start or what they want. In this case I use cues from existing belongings to develop a style and pallet to build from. The end goal is still the same--to love your new space! About me: Before earning my degree in Interior Design from Berkeley College I earned an MBA and had a career in business management for large corporations. I use my business experience and education every day in my design work. It is not enough to understand the best products to specify for my clients. Planning, budgeting and negotiating are essential skills that allow me to be the best advocate I can be for my clients. I have been very active in the New Jersey Chapter of ASID since the beginning of my career. I currently sit on the Board of Directors for the NJ Chapter as the Communication Director. Prior to this service I sat as Chair of the Website Committee where I had the honor of being recognized with a Presidential Citation for leading the relaunch of this NJASID website. In addition I have also served on the Programs Committee, Trade Show Committee and also served as Co-Chair of the CEU committee for two years.
