Steven M. Hefner, ASID, IIDA, Allied Member AIA, has been a professional interior designer for over thirty years, licensed in Florida since 1994 and is the owner of Designworks Creative Partnership, Ltd. in Delray Beach, FL., a firm offering comprehensive design services to a wide range of national and international clients . His interior design projects have consistently received awards and his work has been published in over 40 national and international publications. He is the recipient of many prestigious industry awards including the ASID Chapter Medalist Award . Mr. Hefner is active in the professional, civic and charitable community; he is Past-President of the Florida South Chapter of ASID; Past-President of IDAF (Interior Design Associations Foundation); is a Board Member of American Lung Association; Member of the USGBC; Business Partnership Council – Palm Beach Community College; Interior Design Advisory Board – Indian River Community College; National Trust for Historic Preservation; Florida Trust for Historic Preservation; and The Institute of Classical Architecture. Mr. Hefner is a graduate of Florida State University; has pursued further under graduate studies at the University of Miami in Miami, Florida in Architecture and is currently studying to become a LEED certified interior designer.
