ASID Quarterly Interior Design Billings Index Slips Slightly

WASHINGTON, D.C. (March 6, 2013) | The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Interior Design Billings Index reported its first decline in the quarter ending December 31, 2012 following 14 consecutive months of growth. The December 2012 Billings index of 47.2 indicates a contraction in sales from the November level of 58.9. However, an Inquiry index of 54.4 in December 2012 implies that a greater percentage of ASID respondents expect to experience growth in the coming months.
