About
Cornell University, BA NY School of Interior Design, AAS, 1996 NKBA Kitchen Design Courses, 1996-97 NAHB Aging-in-Place Certification (CAPS), 2007 Marketing Courses, Writing for the Web, 2008-09 My freelance writing has appeared in "The Hartford Courant," "Connecticut Magazine," "New England Home," "Connecticut Home & Garden,""Fine Homebuilding's Kitchens & Baths," "DesignNJ" and numerous other publications. Reprints are available. I am always happy to entertain new writing projects. I am convinced that my hands-on design work better informs my writing.
Services Offered
NDesign Communications Inc. is the company I created in 2009 to brand and publicize interior designers and design-related professionals. My design training & experience (as a kitchen designer for 12 years); strong writing skills (work featured in numerous top publications); and media contacts mean we get our clients' work in front of larger audiences--the right audiences. Designers devote their time & energy to making clients happy, so a good marketing strategy may get short shrift. A great website and an identity that sends an unforgettable design message are crucial to every designer. NDesign Communications markets your strengths to get you brand recognition. And who couldn't use more of that?

Fee Structures
Branding & publicizing is a custom service business; as such, our fee structure is based on the mutually-agreeable strategy. A typical arrangement is a retainer of no less than $2,500, against which we charge an hourly fee ($100/hr & $50/hr for travel). Both parties sign a Letter of Agreement defining the scope of the project and the fee structure.
